Interesting point. Reach can be fleeting, but distribution builds lasting impact and connection over time.

How do you personally decide which “roads” to invest in first?

I choose roads that I can own, control, and compound over time. For me, that’s a newsletter. It’s permission-based, reaches people directly, and becomes an asset that can grow, sell, and create new lanes (products, offers, partnerships).

How does ConvertKit that you previously used compare to Substack now?

I see the power of NL and also follow Anatoly Z.

KIT is solid. It has a LOT more features than Substack. One thing I miss is the email courses I could create on there.

I came to SS because its cheaper with a better networking system.

I dont pay SS unless I make money. KIT charged me regardless. And the more subscribers you have, the more it costs per month.

SS has a social aspect to it, making it easier to get discovered. I get more followers and subscribers because it. And its more enjoyable because I learn from others, its not just a one-way thing.

With that being said, you can use both, but if KIT isn't paying for itself, it doesn't make sense for me.

PS. Anayoly Z is my man - he's always dropping newsletter gems!!
